With just one episode to go until the final credits roll, it's safe to say the last scenes are set be the best of the monumental show's best.

Throughout season 8 we've already seen the grisliest (and most squint-worthy) battle in the TV series' history, Daenerys' slow but sure tumble into madness, and the shocking death of Night King (you can read our review of the Battle of Winterfell here).

Game of Thrones season 8, episode 6 leak: Has Game of Thrones been leaked? GAME OF THRONES season 8, episode 6 will be airing this evening as the HBO series based on George R.R. Martin’s epic saga of ice and fire reaches a climax. Ahead of the episode, many fans have been asking if the Game of Thrones season 8 finale has been leaked.

Season eight of Game of Thrones has been struck by more leaks this year than at any other time in its history over the past decade. Leaks both accidental and apparently non-accidental have affected the series with details from nearly every single episode coming out prior to broadcast. Unsurprisingly, fans have been asking whether the Game of Thrones season eight finale has been leaked - here’s what you need to know.

Expect ash, lots of ash. And maybe some residual flames and embers. Those, of course, are the remnants of Jon Snow’s former state of denial, which was thoroughly roasted in last week’s episode, “The Bells,” along with most of King’s Landing, thanks to Daenerys Targaryen and her dragon, Drogon.

If you recall, Daenerys, aka The Unburnt, had the chance to heed the bells of surrender in King’s Landing and commit to a ceasefire, but she decided to burn the city and its people anyway, much to Jon and Arya Stark’s horror.

When is the ‘Game of Thrones’ series finale?
In case you’re nervous about any aberrations in the usual schedule for the finale, you can put your worries at ease.

The final installment of the series arrives at the same “Game of Thrones” time, same “Game of Thrones” channel — 9 p.m. Sunday, May 19, on HBO.
